Calling all book lovers!

Join the Beth El Women’s Connection for an engaging evening of conversation, community, and connection as we discuss "All Other Nights" by Dara Horn. The book asks the question How is tonight different from all other nights? For Jacob Rappaport, a Jewish soldier in the Union Army, it is a question his commanders have answered for him: on Passover, 1862, he is sent to New Orleans to murder his own uncle, who is plotting to assassinate Lincoln. After this harrowing mission, Jacob is recruited to pursue another enemy agent—this time his not to murder the spy but to marry her. Based on real historical figures and events, this sweeping, masterfully plotted, brilliant novel bridges the divide that still haunts America today: between those who value family and tradition first, and those dedicated, at any cost, to justice for all.

We will meet in the Jacobs Family Community Hall or you can join us via zoom.
